The CCS 2025 will take place in the San Niccolò building, University of Siena, Italy
The San Niccolò building is the ex-Psychiatric Hospital of Siena. It was not only a hospital, but a little village dedicated to hosting psychiatric patients, including food production and other facilities for their life and support. The building has been reconverted to host a few departments of the University of Siena in 2006: the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics, the Department of Physics, and Environmental Sciences, the Department of ancient and modern Literatures, the Department of Communication and Political Sciences. The Department of History and the Santa Chiara Lab, where the Warmup Conference will take place, are a few hundreds of meters far. The place is right in the city centre, only 12 minutes walking distance from the main square of Siena, the Piazza del Campo, and the Duomo, the Cathedral of the city.

Many Hotels are located in the city center from where the Conference venue is within walking distance and other Hotels are located 2-3 km from downtown. Moreover, Siena and the countryside (a few kilometers from the city) are full of B&Bs and agritourism for people who will come by car.
The closest airports to Siena are Pisa (90 km from Siena) and Florence (60 km from Siena). Connections via trains and buses are avilable.

Siena is a Unesco Heritage, and is surrounded by stunning country-side locations that cannot be missed! These include Museums and historical places, such as churches, and ancient buildings. The beautiful countryside areas of Chianti and Valdorcia are also only a few kilometers away.
